Hidden behind the serene cliffs of the Mississippi River sits Riverdale, a city of 287,000 inhabitants. Most of them are human. The others are under the wary eye of ARIANNA CALIN, a fire witch who serves as the Guardian and supernatural cop for the city's Olde Town district. That's where the vampires, werewolves, and other magical creatures live and play . . . and hunt.
Fantasy, Paranormal or Just Plain Spooky
Since starting this website and blog in August of 2012, I've published two urban fantasy books and have two more under contract. That's exciting news for me, but I hadn't anticipated how wonderful it would be to meet all the readers and other authors!
Some of you have contacted me through the comments or the contact page. I love every message and will try to respond to each. Please keep them coming!

Except for the Coffee Chats where you will meet a variety of authors, most of my posts will be about fantasy, paranormal or writing, and we'll keep the posts PG-13. The guests will be blogging about books, the writing process, life in general or we'll put them on the spot and ask questions! :) You'll find new book releases, blog hops, and sneak peeks into published or soon-to-be-published stories.
My books, works in progress, character interviews, and information and photos on the series' setting can be found throughout these web pages.
