National Secretaries Week was first celebrated in 1952,
and the Wednesday of that week became known as Secretaries Day. In 2000, the week and day were changed to Administrative Professionals Week and Administrative Professionals Day to include an expanding workforce.
As an author, I no longer have a secretarial staff like in my former BW life (Before Writing), but I certainly have hardworking editing and proof reading staff, and I'm grateful for every one of them!
