Ally Shields (With my sincere apologies to William Wadsworth Longfellow) *Reposted from 2019 - a Guardian Witch characters holiday spoof Halloween Popcorn Balls 1 cup marshmallows 3/4 cup light corn syrup 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar 1/4 cup margarine 2 teaspoons water (You can add food coloring of your choice) 5 quarts popcorn popped and ready in bowl - plain (optional add-ins: candy corn, nuts, or M&Ms) Instructions: Bring to boil in sauce pan: everything except popcorn (and add-ins) Slowly pour hot mixture over popped corn. Grease hands or gloved hands with margarine. Lightly mix ingredients with hands (adding optional candy corn, nuts, or M&Ms as it cools) and mold into the size balls of your choice. Allow to set, then wrap in plastic wrap. Enjoy! May All Your Dreams Come True In 2020! Let's get the New Year off to a terrific start!
